NEWPORT MOOLOOLABA APARTMENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Newport direct cancellation policy will apply as usual to reservations, except where a guest is sick with COVID-19. Newport will issue a full credit for guests that can provide valid proof they qualify.

Full Terms & Conditions

Deposits:
Tariffs are subject to change and bookings are not confirmed until deposit is processed.
A deposit of the first nights’ accommodation is required at the time of booking. Balance of account is payable on arrival. Credit Card details are held for security. The guest will be required to agree to the terms and conditions and provide a government issued ID prior to check in via our online check in link or completed manually if guest arrives during office hours. 

Guest Responsibilities:
Guests are responsible for the complete payment of all charges with respect to the accommodation. Guests agree to leave the unit in good order. The guest will be liable to pay the cost of any damages, extra cleaning, breakages or loss of property from the unit and abide by the Building Bylaws. These responsibilities are confirmed and agreed to prior to check in via our online check in link. Management reserves the right to charge any costs relating to Newport Mooloolaba full terms and conditions to the credit card supplied.

Unit Allocation:
We will do our best to fulfil unit requests, however we are unable to guarantee. If no unforeseen circumstances arise we certainly give the room as requested. Please note that the furnishings may slightly vary from what the images/photos show.

Cancellations:
Low Season: If cancelled up to 14 days before arrival, deposit is refunded in full. If cancelled within 14 days of arrival, no refund of deposit.
Peak Season: If cancelled up to 30 days before arrival, deposit is refunded in full. If cancelled within 30 days of arrival, no refund of deposit.
Guests who modify their reservation inside the cancellation window of 14 days low season and 30 days peak season, this reservation is now subject to no refund. Modifications include date change and occupants staying. If a reservation has already begun (the check-in has passed) and you depart the resort earlier than your original departure date, this reservation is now subject to no refund. In the case of a no show the guest will be charged the total price of the reservation.

COVID-19 Cancellations:
Newport will accept Covid-19 cancellations right up until the day of arrival. We do require proof of positive test in order to cancel and issue a credit. There is no refund inside 14 days prior to arrival, but upon providing proof of positive test, we’ll issue a full credit on your account for you to use anytime in the next 12 months.
We are committed to fairly treating our guests who have Covid-19, please understand in order to cancel under the policy, you will be required to provide valid proof you qualify.
Whilst no fees will apply to reschedule your booking, date changes will be subject to availability and any difference in rate.
If a reservation has already begun (the check-in has passed) this extenuating circumstance does not apply. This is now a non-refundable booking. We will let the room sit vacant for 48 hours and after performing a deep clean we’ll offer you a credit on any nights resold.

In the event you may be arriving outside of office hours please notify reception and we will arrange for you to collect your keys from our lock box.

Check in is 2pm and check out is 10am. Unless prior arrangements have been made with Reception.

We’re more than happy for you to have visitors, just talk to us about your extra bedding requirements. Rollaway Bed hire $45 per night (includes linen). Cot hire $15 for the first night and $5 per night thereafter (includes Porta cot & linen)

A valid credit or debit card must be provided on check in. The guest will be liable for all costs and charges incurred. In the event that any such costs and charges are not paid in full at check out, the first available card on file will be charged. This card may be charged for undue damage or excessive cleaning charges incurred during the stay. This amount is up to the discretion of management and is subject to change.

All efforts will be made by management to place guests in a requested unit. Where circumstances beyond our control prevent this, an alternative unit will be allocated. Please note that the layout of our apartments is the same, however, all our apartments are individually owned and furnished, so styles will vary from apartment to apartment.

We accept all major credit cards, EFTPOS and cash. All tariffs are inclusive of any applicable government taxes and charges.

Gas barbecue’s with undercover dining and outdoor family area open for use 7.00am to 10.00pm.

Heated Pool, Spa and Sauna are all open for use 7.00am to 8.00pm.

Unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi is available in your apartment and around the grounds for seamless gaming, streaming, or browsing and around the grounds.

Facilities and guest services on offer, such as a heated swimming pool, spa, sauna, gas barbecue’s and outdoor eating area and complimentary secure car parking and free WIFI.

All one, two and three bedroom and wheelchair apartments are fully self-contained with full kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave and oven). Each apartment offers a spacious open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area.

All apartments include ensuite and main bathroom with laundry facilities and two or three balconies. Our ground floor Motels with kitchenettes are perfect for overnight or shorter stays. All rooms offer air-conditioning, Smart TV with Foxtel access and have unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi

Our sixteen level apartment block offers accommodation ranging from Motels on the Ground Floor (no balconies) to gorgeous Panoramic View Apartments. All apartments feature north-facing balconies, most overlooking Mooloolaba Beach while some have pool and garden views.

Our 3 bedroom apartments have some of the best views the coast has to offer as they also have rear balconies, these apartments feature three balconies that wrap around the building showcasing views of the coastline to the north and views of the marina, hinterland and Glasshouse Mountains to the west. You’ll be in the box seat when it comes to ocean and marina views.

There is one undercover, secure carpark per apartment or one rear carpark if you’re staying in our Motel. We also have a few visitor parking spots.

Our Tour Desk team will be more than happy to book all your Sunshine Coast excursions free of charge. Our friendly team are on-hand seven-days-a-week with the ‘local know-how’ to help you plan your days perfectly.

Our friendly team are happy to offer local knowledge on the region or provide those little extras to help make your stay more enjoyable such as champagne & chocolates, roses or a wine or whale watching tour. 

Newport Mooloolaba is an excellent accessible building, the only place you’ll find steps is into the swimming pool. Newport Mooloolaba have apartments suitable for guests with low to high mobility needs, accommodation options ranging from fully accessible apartments to care for guests with limited mobility to apartments for the more independent traveller that include grab rails and step free shower access. Newport Mooloolaba’s fully accessible apartments offer amenities including electric bed, commode and hoist to ensure an easy and comfortable holiday.

Pool hours 7.00am to 8.00pm

Motels & Apartments are serviced for stays of 8 days or more. Daily service is available at an extra charge.

Management is entitled to terminate the stay of the guest or any member of the guests’ party if guests engage in dangerous and unlawful behaviour, or cause upset or distress, and any damage to the property. In this situation, the guest concerned will be required to leave the accommodation immediately. Newport Mooloolaba will have no further responsibility toward such guest. No refunds will be granted and Newport Mooloolaba will not pay any expense or costs incurred as a result of the termination.
